WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) _ Artist and designer Bob Timberlake will discuss an upcoming retrospective of his work at a gallery in Winston-Salem.
Timberlake will hold a news conference Thursday at the Womble Carlyle Gallery in the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts. Workers will be handing Timberlake's pieces and Catherine New of The Arts Council of Winston-Salem will be on hand.
Timberlake's paintings have been exhibited in major galleries in the United States and abroad. In the 1970s, the Corcoran Gallery of Contemporary Art in Washington, D.C., hosted a solo exhibition of Timberlake works.
In addition to painting, Timberlake also has branded furniture, luggage and other items.
The 70-year retrospective opens June 19 and closes July 20.
