Some of you may already know that Heather Morris, known as Brittany from Fox hit series Glee, is a contestant on this seasons Dancing With The Stars.  Morris, who is partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, has been facing a lot of criticism over her being cast to compete in the ABC show.  The duo are considered to have a bit of advantage over the other stars in the dancing competition.  Before appearing on Glee, Morris was previously one of Beyonce's backup dancers and appeared on So You Think You Can Dance. So why was she cast if she has professional dance experience?

The show defended their selection by pointing out that other dancers have been cast in the past. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has a dance background and came in second place one season.  Dirty Dancing's Jennifer and former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger were also competitors on the show and definitely have dancing backgrounds as well.  In addition to Morris, Gold Medalist Simone Biles, and figure-skating star Nancy Kerrigan will be competing this season and they too have experience in choreographed routines.

So tell us what you think! Does Heather Morris have an unfair advantage in Dancing With The Stars? Let us know in the comments below.
