The Decemberists are returning to the stage. The folk-rockers will play their first concert since 2011 in May, and they're coming back for a good reason.
The gig -- dubbed "V Is for Victory" -- will serve as a benefit concert raising funds for an Oregon school for autistic students. The Decemberists says they plan to play their 2002 debut album Castaways and Cutouts in full, as well as a few other "sentimental favorites." T
he concert will take place May 30th in Portland, Oregon, with tickets set to go on sale this Friday via CascadeTickets.com.
Proceeds will help fund the new Victory Academy, which is the first-ever K through 12 accredited school for children affected by autism. It's currently being built on a four-acre horse farm outside of a Portland suburb.
