Tears For Fears are giving Arcade Fire's song "Ready to Start" what they call a "twist of TFF."
The new wave duo released the cover online as a form of "reciprocal cross-generational love." Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith explain that they've appreciated artists ranging from Katy Perry to Kanye West covering and sampling their songs over the years, so they felt a little pay back was in order.
Tears for Fears are currently in the studio working on the follow-up to their 2004 comeback album, "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending," but there's still no word on when some original tunes from the band might surface.
Arcade Fire, meanwhile, are scheduled to release their next album on October 29th. The record - which is rumored to be titled "Reflektor" - will be the Canadian indie rockers' first since 2010's Grammy-winning effort The Suburbs.
