Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss announced on Sunday at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin that Ed Sheeran will be on the HBO hit, Game of Thrones Season 7. Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams is a huge fan of Ed Sheeran and they have been trying to figure out how to get him on the show for years. Past seasons of Game of Thrones have featured cameos from musical artists such as Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, Will Champion from Coldplay, Sigur Ros and Mastodon.
