Ariana Grande Releases New Statement On Manchester Attack, Announces Benefit Concert

Aside from a few words on Twitter, Ariana Grande has stayed quiet since the devastating attack during her Manchester show on Monday night (May 22). However, the pop titan broke her silence on Friday afternoon with a lengthy letter directed at her fans. 

In the statement, which was posted on her social media, the 23-year-old chart-topper explained that her heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the attack and their loved ones. "There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better,” she wrote. "However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way."

Grande went on to reveal that she'll be returning to the city of Manchester to spend time with fans and perform at "a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families." More details on the show are expected to be announced. Read the full statement below!

Most recently, a letter penned by a father, whom Ariana does not know, took the blogosphere by storm, with a brave reaction to the events from the parent of three. Manchester's attack took the lives of 22 people and injured at least 60 more individuals.
