BREAKING: Shots Fired on UNC Charlotte's Campus

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WTVD) -- University of North Carolina, Charlotte is on lockdown after shots were reportedly fired on campus.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. near the Kennedy Building.

WSOC in Charlotte reports three people were shot.

The shooter is in custody, according to WSOC.

The university, however, says the situation is still active.
