The weather is warming up and if you're looking for a great patio or rooftop, here is a list to get you started. There are so many great options in RDU.
1. The Durham Hotel - This spot in Durham is worth the mention for its iconic rooftop bar offering sweeping views of downtown Durham, sophisticated cocktails, and a laid-back atmosphere. Of course, this is where I'm from and I have to show Durham some love. It really has become a foodie city.
2. Taverna Agora - Authentic Greek cuisine on their beautiful rooftop garden. It's a serene setting that feels like a Mediterranean escape in the heart of the city. And sometimes they have music which is incredible and even belly dancing, Opa!
3. 10th & Terrace - Located atop the Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown, 10th & Terrace offers panoramic views of Raleigh's skyline along with a variety of craft cocktails and small plates. Great for a fun group...the girls and I did a birthday celebration here.
4. The Willard Rooftop Lounge - Raleigh's rooftop scene boasts stunning views of downtown Raleigh, an extensive wine list, and a variety of shareable plates. I celebrated a birthday here and the food was incredible. Great spot to watch the sunset.

1. Raleigh Beer Garden - With its Guinness World Record for the largest selection of beer, the Raleigh Beer Garden has a sprawling outdoor patio perfect for beer lovers. And you can enjoy indoors with the windows open or their spacious outdoor option. Even corn hole out back!
2. Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing - Best views of the Raleigh skyline from its patio, hands down! The owners are incredible and they have a great selection of craft beers and contemporary American cuisine.
3. Boylan Bridge Brewpub - Known for one of the best views of downtown Raleigh, this spot offers a casual atmosphere with a variety of craft beers and simple, tasty food.
4. Trophy Brewing and Pizza on Morgan - Not only does Trophy offer excellent craft beers and delicious, inventive pizzas, but its patio is also a cozy spot to enjoy a casual meal with friends. This place is always packed for good reason.
5. Vidrio - This place is stunning and artistic with a spacious outdoor dining area. Vidrio is perfect for those who appreciate Mediterranean flavors and a lively atmosphere.
6.Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar - Offers a tranquil, poolside patio setting for enjoying Italian cuisine. You feel like you're on vacation sitting by the pool (and no it's not for swimming), great for Insta pics.
