Lauv Performs Live on the Honda Stage at iHeartRadio Austin (VIDEOS)

With 2017 winding down, it's safe to say that emerging artist Lauv has had a pretty amazing year. The 23-year-old singer/songwriter, real name Ari Staprans Leff, co-wrote Cheat Codes' Demi Lovato collab "No Promises," as well as Cash Cash's Conor Maynard single "All My Love." But Lauv released several singles of his own, one of which is a collaboration with DJ Snake called "A Different Way."

While at iHeartRadio Austin recently, Lauv exclusively performed many of his new songs on the Honda Stage, including "I Like Me Better," "A Different Way," "Breathe," "The Other," and "Easy Love."

The Honda Stage platform celebrates determined, breakout artists, which very much describes Lauv, who started writing songs at 14 years old. Later on, Lauv went to college in the music technology program at New York University's Steinhardt school, while simultaneously co-writing songs for other artists including Charli XCX and Adam Lambert, to name a few.

The 22-year-old describes his music as "very romantic" and "slightly R&B influenced/pop." He adds, "I like to describe it as kinda minimal, and in general I try to cross a lot of genres."
