Server Stiffed On Bill And Fired For Posting To FB

Tamlynn Yoder of Lake Park, Florida was fired from her job at Outback Steakhouse after posting to social media about not getting tipped on a $735 takeout order for a local church. She said there is a lot that goes into putting together a takeout order and does just as much as serving.

When Yoder came into work the following day, she was told that the church had received a full refund and that she was fired. An Outback spokewoman said that it is company policy to to not allow employees to post on social media about customers.

The church stated that they did not call the restaurant to have her fired, but to resolve the situation. The volunteer who picked up the order did not realize he needed to tip since it was a rush of the moment thing.

Yoder is currently searching for another service industry job.
