Bumble has made a big announcement: they won’t be allowing any photos of guns anywhere on their site. There’s a team of moderators that are set up to screen photos to make sure there are no dangerous weapons – and anyone who tries to post them will be them dealt with the same way nude photo or hate speech are taken care of.
The best part? The app will also be donating $100,000 to March For Our Lives, which is the organization started up by survivors of the Parkland shooting.
One note…if you’re a member of the military, you’ll be exempt from the gun photo ban. Oh, and the rule doesn’t apply to people’s Instagrams when they’re linked to the app.
