Cops Release Pics & Video From Scene of Prince's Death

After investigators in Minnesota announced Thursday that they would not seek criminal charges over the 2016 death of Prince at his Paisley Park estate, authorities have now released photos and videos taken at the scene of the pop star's death. TMZ reports that Prince was found lying on his back in front of an elevator door in the home. The footage also shows Prince walking into the office of Dr. Michael Schulenberg the day before he died. Prosecutors say Schulenberg wrote a Percocet prescription for Prince, but it's not believed to have played a factor in his passing.

Carver County (Minn.) Attorney Mark Metz announced that no criminal charges will be filed in the death of the pop star Prince, who passed away on April 21, 2016, after swallowing a lethal dose of the powerful painkiller fetanyl. The Star Tribune reports that investigators were unable to determine who provided Prince with the pills, which were disguised as counterfeit Percocet tablets. (The case could be reopened if new evidence emerges.)
