Taylor Swift Gets Stuck Mid-Air In Sparkly Basket During Philly Concert

Similar to Beyoncé's recent stage malfunction, Taylor Swift was left stranded during the Saturday (July 14) stop of her "reputation Stadium Tour" when her sparkling basket was suspended mid-air.

During her performance of recent single, "Delicate," the 28-year-old star stood in her basket and waited to be transported to another stage in the venue, but unfortunately, the basket just kept going up and down. In Swift fashion, the star proceeded to offer the audience at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field a play-by-play of what was happening with her technical difficulties. "So what you just saw was me going like straight up and down in this sparkly basket. It's supposed to take me to the other side of the stadium," she told the crowd. "So what happens now is basically I'm just chilling waiting to figure out what happens next."

After the number, Swift decided to remain chatty with the audience while the crew worked on the malfunction. Not only did she throw out the idea of potentially walking to the other stage, but she broke out into an a capella crowd sing-a-long of 2007 fan favorite, "Our Song." Thankfully, the crew knew how to fix the problem, brought her a new basket and all was solved. Nonetheless, the bigger news to come out of the tour stop was the proposal that took place right in front of the superstar during her meet and greet between two Swifties
