Vampire Weekend Cruise Through The California Desert In 'This Life' Video

Vampire Weekend shared "This Life" and "Unbearably White" during their last two-song drop before releasing their highly anticipated fourth studio album Father of the Bride, and now the band has shared a video for the former.

In the black and white clip, we meet Wade, who describes himself as "kind of a loner, but I'm also sort of a people person." He drives Danielle Haim, Ezra Koenig, and producer Ariel Rechtshaid through the California desert, picking up others along the way — including Jovan Hill of Twitter fame — before ending up at a seder. The video also cuts to scenes of the whole band playing in a warehouse, and Koenig strumming his guitar in the vast desert with wind turbines spinning behind him.

Upon its release earlier this month, Vampire Weekend proved Father of the Bride was worth the wait. The album topped the charts on release week, marking the band's third No. 1 record. The indie-rockers are currently on a North American tour supporting their new music, which wraps up October 8 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.
