Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Pose For For First Post-Royal Portrait

Despite the ongoing pandemic keeping them at home, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have managed to stay busy through a number of virtual events. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will next participate in a "specially curated episode" of Time100 Talks. The event supports a cause close to the Sussexes' hearts, as well, as it aims to "bring together experts, advocates, online creators, and journalists to discuss the pursuit of a more compassionate, safe, and trustworthy digital world."

Not only will Harry and Meghan be hosting the Time100 talks, the couple released their first official portrait as non-royals ahead of the big event. The portrait can be seen in Time's tweet about the event, as well as on their website.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, both TIME100 alumni, are among the most influential voices in the world,” Dan Macsai, Time's executive editor and editorial director of the TIME100, said in a statement about the event. “We look forward to working with them to elevate essential voices and highlight real solutions to some of the most pressing issues of our time.”

Time editor in chief and CEO Edward Felsenthal added: “Since launching in April, TIME100 Talks has focused on solutions and visions of a better future through conversations with extraordinary leaders from around the world. This special episode marks our first collaboration, and we are thrilled to partner with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to explore these urgent issues.”

Royal watchers interested in tuning in to the big event must first register for the Time100 Talks. The event airs on on October 20, 2020 at 1PM ET on Time.com and across TIME’s social media platforms.
