Lana Del Rey and Quavo surprised fans by debuting their unreleased collaboration for the first time.

On Thursday night, June 20, the alt-pop star hit the stage at Fenway Park in Boston for a condensed show due to the poor weather. Lana made the best of it by inviting her new friend Quavo to perform their upcoming song "Tough." Their unexpected performance came just a day after they previewed the record in a collaborative post on Instagram.

“Tough like the scarf on a pair of old leather boots/Like the blue-collar, red-dirt attitude/Like a .38 made out of brass," they crooned together.

Quavo and Lana previewed the upcoming track last month. They posted a photo of each other hanging out on a porch the way Migos used to do back in the day before the fame.

“If u come from where u come then u were born….Tough!" they wrote in the caption of their post.

The new song is a byproduct of the two prominent artist's newfound friendship. Earlier this year, they were both seen hanging out together in Los Angeles. They were spotted out together again last month at Quavo's restaurant/club V12 in Atlanta, which Lana said is her favorite spot in the A. In her video, Lana said she was chopping it up with Quavo and panned the camera to him as he flashed off his shiny diamond grill.

It's not clear where the song will end up. Both artists have new albums on the way. Lana recently announced her country album Lasso will arrive this year. Meanwhile, Quavo dropped new singles like "Mink" and "Clear The Smoke." As of this report, they have not confirmed the release date for "Tough."
