Latto seemingly took another swipe at Ice Spice over the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, June 22, the Atlanta native took to X and uploaded a photo of a cake she received ahead of a performance in her hometown. The cake resembled the poop emoji complete with faux flies. At the bottom of the cake, the sender wrote, "Holy s**t, you're headlining." Latto posted a shot of the cake with the caption, "Think I'm the s**t, b***h ?????" The line is a reference to the opening line in Ice Spice's song "Think U The S**t (Fart)."
Latto's latest jab at Ice Spice adds fuel to the two rap stars' ongoing beef. After months of firing subliminal shots, the Bronx rapper decided to up the ante by shading Big Latto on the RIOTUSA-produced single she dropped in February. “I got my foot on they necks, I can’t let up/She all on the floor, told her get up," she rapped. Ice Spice didn't namedrop anyone in particular, but later clarified she was referring to the 25-year-old rapper.
The "Big Energy" rapper responded with "Sunday Service." She directly replied to Ice Spice's lyric and accused her of biting her style. She shot the music video in The Bronx, and emphasized that if she and Ice Spice were ever to be booked at the same event "it’s gon’ be big drama.”
“Think I’m the s**t, b***h, I know it, ho/Jesus walked on water, I got ice boilin’ though," Latto spit. “These b***hes corny, soon as monkey see, then you know monkey do/Do you rap or do you tweet?/‘Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, b***h."
So far, Ice Spice has not responded to Latto's recent jab. She's currently focused on the release of her debut album Y2K! Look out for it on July 26 and peep the alternate album cover below.
