Cardi B is playing favorites this fall, and she plans to listen to these two artists on repeat all season!
The "Up" icon recently took to X to ring in the "ber" months, sending love to her two favorite "pumpkin spice" artists featured on all her fall playlists.
"As soon as I feel that September NY breeze I start playin Max B and Mary J. Blige. It's like my pumpkin spice to my playlist."
Fans immediately took to the comment section of the post in critique of her selections, shining a spotlight on imprisoned rapper Max B, boldly relaying, "now girl be serious who listens to max b in 2024?" Cardi clapped back at the fan, revealing that she will be listening to Max B on repeat until she sends her kids off to college.
"Baby I will play the same 9 songs I like till my kids go to college….GZ UP NIKKA, HOES DOWN!!"
HIPHOPDX mentioned that Max B was taken into custody in 2009 for "armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and murder" and initially received a 75-year prison sentence. His sentence was reduced and he was expected to be freed last year, but remains behind bars to this day.
Earlier this week, Cardi debuted new photos of her growing baby bump on Instagram in anticipation of the birth of her third child. The sweet carousel features the "WAP" queen on a motorcycle draped in leather ahead of an ultrasound photo of the baby.
