In an exclusive interview with iHeartRadio, the TDE singer explaina how her inner circle of friends influenced her first body of work and what she learned about herself throughout the recording process. She reveals that making the project inspired her to become her own therapist as she vented about her everything going on in her life. Later on, she revisits Pharrell Williams contribution to the intro "Supermodel" and gushes about his whispered vocals.

"His whisper is magnificent," she says. "I played the sound for him at the interview just because I wanted to share it with him and wanted to know if he liked it."
