The Hangout Music Festival 2019 Lineup is finally here, and holy sh*t. It's SO GOOD!
Let's talk Alternative Rock, because the artists of the genre on this lineup are absolutely insane.
The Lumineers, Vampire Weekend, The 1975, Hozier, Walk The Moon, Jimmy Eat World, Judah & The Lion, Jungle, Bishop Briggs, Arizona, Sofi Tukker, Sir Sly, King Princess, lovelytheband, The Interrupters, Superorganism, Flora Cash, Two Feet, Pale Waves, Gang of Youths, Grandson, morgxn, and Castlecomer
Here are some of my personal highlights:
VAMPIRE WEEKEND - I've never seen them live, so this is HUGE!
I can't wait to see The 1975 perform the new stuff from 'A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships' (Which comes out tomorrow!)
Freaking JIMMY EAT WORLD, are you kidding!? So awesome. We're about to go full 2001 on the beach, and I'm here for it!
SIR SLY - easily one of the best live shows (and nicest dudes ever) will also be hitting the Gulf Shore, so get to know them now!
Oh, you used to make jokes about ska bands? Ha. Ha. Checkerboard pants and sideburns, we get it. Well, eat your words. Ska is back, cooler than ever, and you can thank THE INTERRUPTERS.
I mean, yeah - Hangout's 2019 lineup is massive and features some of the biggest names in music right now, but it's also a great opportunity to check out some new bands that you might not be listening to yet. You could find your new favorite band!
Here are my picks:
(Notice how WALK THE MOON is also on the bill... Check out the song below. Just sayin'.
Can you tell I'm excited? This lineup is effing bananas, and I can't wait!
