It's no secret that I'm a total Chainsmokers fan-boy. (You can imagine how not thrilled I was with the photo I put on this post from when I finally met them last year LOL).
Ugh, whatever. I was so stoked to see that they've finally released their documentary FOR FREE on YouTube, and it's so good. Here's what Alex Pall and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers said on their most recent Instagram post about it:
"So about 2 years ago our Documentary came out and we hated it. We just felt to close to it, that we didn’t deserve one and it accomplished nothing. Well 2 years later we feel completely different about it now. It’s an amazing story of two friends who killed themselves to try and get to the top and make music that they loved and share it with as many people as possible all the while figuring it out as we went... all our mistakes and achievements... I honestly felt really emotional watching it and I promise whether your a fan, a friend, or someone who knows nothing you will really enjoy this because it’s super honest. It’s up available for everyone to see on YouTube now for free."
Even if you're not a big Chainsmokers fan, take the time to check out the documentary. I promise it will help you better understand and appreciate them as not only musicians, but people!
