Good news if you're stressed about the US possibly (probably?) banning TikTok. Instagram is looking to challenge the video-sharing platform with its own "Reels" feature. "We're excited to bring Reels to more countries, including the U.S., in early August," Facebook spokesperson, to TechCrunch. "The community in our test countries has shown so much creativity in short-form video, and we've heard from creators and people around the world that they're eager to get started as well," Facebook spokesperson, to TechCrunch. Reels launched in India this month after rival TikTok was banned in that market. It has also been tested in Germany, Brazil and France.
