According to TMZ, Logic spent $226,000 on a rare first-edition Charizard card during a recent auction. The transaction has reportedly broken the record for the highest price ever paid for the card. '[It beats the] record for the card by more than $50,000,' Business analyst Darren Rovell, via Twitter. The reason why this card is so rare is due to the fact that it’s shadowless. The normal version of the card has a shadow on the right-hand side.
I mean, look... I always wanted to have a holographic Charizard too, but $226,000 seems a little aggressive for a Pokemon card, right?
