The Winner of the Showgram 25k Wedding Day Announced!

Congratulations to the winners of the Showgram 25k Wedding Day, Ly and Long! Here is their story:

When I use to work at the food court in the mall, I remember drawing smiley faces on everyone's take out plates because I love to make people smile. On one particular day, my smiley faces started to look sloppy that it formed a heart. Amused at my drawing, I mentioned to my customer, "This looks like a heart; it should be a smiley face." Little did I know, this individual, would become my best friend for the next 14 years of my life. What started out as something sweet and innocent would grow into a relationship that would overcome every obstacle. Long had just returned from deployment in Iraq and one of the things he looked forward to was eating orange chicken. I knew he was special because he would always buy an extra plate to give to the homeless. Neither of us had dated before and Long was shy. I felt like a kid when his friend gave me a note with Long's number asking me out on a date. Shortly after, Long's military service finished. Instead of returning to Arizona, where his family lived, he took a leap of faith and stayed in NC to finish college with me. Spring break 2013, Long flies to Vegas for fun and to visit his family. Long was 2 months from graduation and I had just started my job at the hospital. Life was going just as planned, or so we thought. The next day, I received a heart quenching voicemail from the hospital in Vegas that Long was involved in a head on collision with a drunk driver who drove on the wrong side of the freeway. The next years of our lives would be filled with challenges, but also many memories that we were blessed to still share together. Multiple surgeries and years of rehab later, you couldn't tell that Long was ever wheel chair bound. I knew Long was special from the first day I met him. His strength, kindness, and lightheartedness radiates the room. I guess it wasn't a coincidence that I accidentally drew a heart on his take out box 14 years ago.

They will receive: Venue (Up to 150 guests), Catering (Up to 150 guests), D├ęcor/Rentals (chairs, tables, etc), Rehearsal Dinner, Sparkler exit & fireworks send off, Day of wedding planner, Wedding Bands, Videographer, DJ, Photographer, Flowers, Cake, Wedding Guest Favors, Dress & Veil, and Tux.
