How ironic is it to be a show host that focuses on identifying predators for certain crimes and then ending up behind bars yourself? Chris Hansen, former host of NBC's "Dateline" series "To Catch A Predator" and the spin offs "To Catch an I.D. Thief" and "To Catch a Con Man" apparently was arrested last year for his acts of allegedly, writing bouncing checks to a well known store in Stamford, Connecticut. The owners of "Mom-and-Pop Shop" received two bouncing checks from Hansen as he was trying to purchase promotional items. After discovering the checks were bad, they notified authorities and after refusing to talk to police a warrant was put out charging him with felony larceny. Well recently, it has been announced that he has written a check for nearly $13,000 to pay off what was owed to the store....and it cleared. Prosecutors have now dropped the charges as he has paid his debt in full leading him to not have to plead to any charges. Lucky him right?
