Paris Baguette Offering Free Coffee To Healthcare Workers Amid COVID-19

There's no denying we're living through quite an uncertain time, however, there's one thing we can all agree on amidst all that uncertainty: the healthcare workers and first responders on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic are heroes. While most of us are doing our part by staying home and following social distancing, doctors, nurses and all the other hospital employees must still head to work every day. To show gratitude for everything they're doing for us right now, Paris Baguette—a bakery chain in New York City—will now offer free coffee to all hospital workers, first responders, the New York Police Department and the New York City Fire Department at their Manhattan locations.

Free coffee for healthcare workers and first responders began on March 26 and will continue for the foreseeable future. They will be able to receive a free coffee at any of Paris Baguette’s Manhattan locations when they come in uniform or show a valid form of ID. Like many other restaurants and food establishments across the country, Paris Baguette’s Manhattan locations remain open with delivery and take-out available. Dine-in is no longer available for the time being.

“We have a responsibility to serve our communities and those that are working selflessly at the frontline of the pandemic by remaining open for delivery, pick-up and grab-and-go options,” said Darren Tipton, Chief Executive Officer of Paris Baguette. “We will continue to safely serve our fresh foods and a wide variety of signature cakes and pastries, sandwiches and salads, seasonal beverages, and more, for the people in our communities who need it.”

Participating Paris Baguette Locations in Manhattan:

  • Upper West Side: 2568 Broadway
  • Upper East Side: 1270 Lexington Ave
  • Lincoln Square: 2039 Broadway
  • Hell’s Kitchen: 888 10th Ave
