JoJo Fletcher & Jordan Rodgers Almost Broke Up After ‘The Bachelorette’

Since filming for Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette was postponed due to COVID-19, ABC decided to air a greatest hits Bachelor series this summer instead. Each episode of the retrospective look at the reality dating show, titled The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever, has a run time of three hours and will cover a whole season of The Bachelor or Bachelorette.

A recent episode of The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever covered JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette. Unlike many of the couples who get together in the finale and then, ultimately, break up after the show ends, JoJo is still with the man she gave her final rose to—Jordan Rodgers—four years later. The happily engaged couple even documented themselves watching their greatest hits episode on social media.

During the show, Bachelor Nation host extraordinaire Chris Harrison caught up with JoJo and Jordan to talk about their experience on the show, as well as their relationship. In the interview, JoJo and Jordan surprised Bachelor Nation when they revealed that they almost called it quits shortly after their season of The Bachelorette finished airing. “You get a lot of perfection on the show. You get amazing dates, you see the best of someone. Sometimes that's not real life," Jordan explained. "You go through ups and downs and we’ve gone through our fair share of ups and downs.”

JoJo chimed in, as well, describing their first year together post-Bachelorette “very difficult." She revealed that they "went through a lot of different struggles. And there was a point in that first year where we were like, ‘Whoa, can we even do this?’ We sat down together and we were like, ‘We love each other, but is that enough right now?’ There was a fork in the road and we choose to stay together and we’re better for it, but it was not easy.”

JoJo and Jordan were set to tie the knot on June 13, however, their wedding was postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. They're now set to finally get married around the same time next year.
