Benson Boone publicly apologized to fans following an "aggressive" moment at the 67th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 2) evening.
The "Slow It Down" hitmaker took the stage in a pastel blue jumpsuit, climbed up on the piano and did his signature backflip before "aggressively" adjusting himself. He offered a subtle "sorry" to fans the following morning (as seen in photos obtained by E!News), zooming in on the incident.
"Sorry for adjusting my jumpsuit so aggressively on stage tonight. That thing was extremely restricting in certain areas," the 22-year-old remarked. Social media users were quick to comment on the moment, stating they would "remember it for A WHILE," amid expressing how shocked they were that he "fully" adjusted himself on live TV.
Boone sang 2024 smash hit "Beautiful Things," rising from the crowd before enlisting Heidi Klum and Nikki Glaser to pull off his suit. The standout was nominated for Best New Artist and breathed life into Crypto Arena with his unforgettable performance.
Before the show, he told ExtraTv that he was most excited for the world to see his outfit, referring to it as "thee outfit."
"It's hard to explain...you'll see when I go out there. It won't be what you think it's going to be, but then it will make sense tonight," he assured... and did not disappoint!
