As if being single weren't hard enough, there are dating app scammers to now be worried about! So, how can you vet the person you're talking to?
Ryan Seacrest shared in today's hack experts warn users that there are people on dating apps not just for catfishing, but to steal personal information as well.
Here's how to catch one:
THEY START SHARING THEIR PERSONAL INFORMATION: They share info trying to get you to share yours. For example: your hometown and mother’s maiden name can be used to figure out your password.
THEY REFUSE TO VIDEO CHAT: This one is obvious because they are not who they claim to be.
THEY TRY TO MOVE TO TEXT VERY QUICKLY: Red flag anyone?! They do this so they can get your phone number and your conversations are no longer monitored by the app...
