The tree from the end of "The Shawshank Redemption" is gone. It was pretty much destroyed by a couple storms in the last few years, and the owner finally hauled it away so he could farm the land. He says he's going to use the wood to make a table or a bench.
The tree where Red finds Andy's note at the end of "The Shawshank Redemption" is no more. The oak had stood in a field in Mansfield, Ohio for 200 years.
