Chemical in McDonald's Fries May Offer Cure for Baldness

McDonald's food may expand your waistline, but on the plus side, it might also cure your receding hairline! Researchers at Yokohama National University in Japan have successfully regrown hair on mice using dimethylpolysiloxane, a type of silicone added to Mickey D's fries to prevent cooking oil from frothing. "This simple method [of hair regrowth] is very robust and promising," says study author Junji Fukada. "We hope this technique will improve human hair regenerative therapy to treat hair loss."
