Daylight Savings Time has commenced and one state is looking to make it a permanent move. “The Sunshine Protection Act” has been proposed in Florida to keep Daylight Savings Time all year long. The act has already been approved by senate and is moving on to Governor Rick Scott for approval. If all goes as planned, Congress would have to change the existing federal law on Daylight Savings and Florida doesn’t have to change its clocks in Fall meaning- more sunshine year round.
