A 22-year-old Malian immigrant in France has earned the nickname "Spider-Man"--and an offer of French citizenship--after he scaled a building to rescue a 4-year-old who nearly fell off a fourth-floor balcony in Paris this weekend. Mamoudou Gassama miraculously scaled those four stories in 30 seconds to reach the dangling child. He later said about his heroic actions, "When I started to climb, it gave me courage to keep climbing." On Monday, Gassama sat down with French president Emmanuel Macron, who offered him both French citizenship and a job as a firefighter. "You saved a child. Without you, no one knows what would have become of him," said Macron. "You need courage and the capability to do that."
