The entity that outbid Lance Bass for The Brady Bunch home has been revealed as the cable channel HGTV. "Here’s the story," the channel tweeted on Tuesday, alongside musical note emojis and a video featuring the house's exterior. "Guess who has a big project planned for this iconic ‘70s TV home? Watch for more clues, coming soon." In an earnings call, Discovery CEO David Zaslav further told Wall Street analysts the channel "will restore the Brady Bunch home to its 1970s glory as only HGTV can." He added, "We’ll bring all the resources to bear to tell safe, fun stories about this beloved piece of American TV history.” Bass had been told his offer for the home had been accepted, but a larger entity swooped in and bought the house instead.
