I love this! Go Browns!
Anheuser-Busch began placing padlocked "victory fridges," each filled with 200 aluminum bottles of Bud Light, in 10 Cleveland-area bars. So what will it take to unlock them? A victory by the NFL's Cleveland Browns, who haven't won a game since the 2016 season. (They're 1-31 in the last two seasons combined.) If and when the Browns win their first game this year, anyone already inside one of the participating bars when the clocks strike zero will be entitled to the Bud Light--for free. "While some may characterize it as celebrating one victory, we view this as an opportunity to thank Browns fans for their unwavering support while also looking forward to our goal of rewarding Cleveland with a consistently winning football team," Browns chief operating officer Dave Jenkins tells ESPN.
