On the show we talked about Erica having melanoma removed from her stomach. She was shocked how much was removed and took a picture. It's graphic so BEWARE! Don't look if you are easily grossed out. She thought it would be just a small scrap...similar to a biopsy. Well instead it was more like 7 inches across and half inch deep. Luckily it was screened early and removed by an awesome Dr. at Duke. Screening is so important!!!!!

On May 18 we are going to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest skin cancer screening in history: http://polkadotmama.org/gbwr/ !! With the help of over 30 dermatologists we hope to screen over 1,000 patients for skin cancer and melanoma. This event is going to take place at Duke Southpoint.
