What should you do if you think you might have COVID-19 but you can't get tested?
The first thing you need to do is self-isolate. As we try to "flatten the curve," it's better to be safe than sorry.
If you are feeling any of the symptoms, stay away from others. If you live with multiple people, try to keep 6 feet away from them or stay in a separate room and use a different bathroom if you can.
You should also stay hydrated. If you have a fever, it is never a good idea to get dehydrated. Water is the best choice followed by drinks like Gatorade or Pedialyte.
Eating well is key too. Having healthier meals gives a good boost to your immunity.
Other things you should do if you think you are sick include taking your medications to stay on top of any other conditions, practice good hygiene around your home, and most importantly, monitor your condition. Contact your healthcare provider if your conditions get worse. Have you wondered whether you should isolate yourself? What room would you pick if you needed to isolate?
