Netflix is preparing a follow-up season for the hit series. For the next season, plans are to include details into the 2003 tiger attack that ended the Siegfried and Roy animal show in Las Vegas. Rumor has it, that people at 'Tiger King' contacted Chris Lawrence who was part of the Siegfried and Roy show and still suffers PTSD 15 years after the tiger mauling happened.
Other reports say that a follow-up to the Joe Exotic storyline could also be happening. According to Dr. James Liu, a member of the production team who developed the Netflix series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, a new episode of the series is on the way that will contextualize not only the initial seven-episode series, but also the follow-up special hosted by Joel McHale, according toThe Hollywood Reporter. Neither Netflix nor directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin have confirmed the new installment.
