On Monday, Ellen DeGeneres returned to her talk show studio. In her 18th season premiere, she addressed from the top the summer scandal right. She pledged that the show is “starting a new chapter.”
First, Ellen welcomed the haters. No doubt that more people than normal wanted to see how Ellen handled the sticky situation. She took responsibility for the “toxic work environment.” Ellen apologized to staff who felt traumatized.
She may be an actress, but Ellen claimed the person you see on stage daily is her authentic personality. Yet, she recognized herself from the social media stories about her frequent and foul temper with food servers. Ellen told the audience, (quote) “Sometimes I get sad. I get mad. I get anxious. I get frustrated. I get impatient. And I am working on all of that.” (Daily Beast)
