Ryan Reynolds Helps Find Grieving Woman's Lost Teddy Bear

Congratulations are in order for Mara Soriano. The 28-year-old’s backpack was stolen during a move to Canada. One of the main items taken was a teddy bear that featured the voice of her 53-year-old mother who succumbed to cancer last year. Ryan Reynolds and other celebrities got together to ask for the bear’s return.

Apparently someone emailed Mara to let her know that the bear had been found. Ryan – a native Canadian – shared the news on Twitter. “Thank you to everyone who searched high and low. To the person who took the bear, thanks for keeping it safe,” he captioned a picture of her with the bear.

No word on whether the other items Mara lost – including her passport, her iPad, or her Nintendo Switch – were returned.
