Dr. Dre Expected to Recover After Having a Brain Aneurysm

We’re sending prayers up for Dr. Dre. He’s currently being treated at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm on Monday. According to reports, he was rushed by ambulance directly to the ICU.

At this point, the 55-year-old is described as "stable" and "lucid." The doctors are currently running tests to see what caused the bleed. Of course, the timing couldn't be worse - the mogul is in the middle of a contentious divorce from his wife, Nicole Young.

To review, she wants $2-million a month in temporary spousal support and $5 million for attorney fees. While he’s been paying her expenses, he thinks that her demands are outrageous. She also wants the prenup she signed thrown out. There’s a hearing scheduled today in downtown Los Angeles on both those issues. Clearly he won’t be attending.

UPDATE: As the world wonders what's next for Dre, he's apparently taken to Insta to thank everyone and share his status. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team,” he writes. “I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
