A Trader Joe's employee in Maryland went above and beyond to take care of a customer.
A New Jersey man who wanted to send flowers to his parents in Maryland but most stores in the area were closed. Luckily one store remained open—Trader Joe's.
The man called the store and asked the Maryland Trader Joe's if he could order flowers on the phone and send an Uber to pick up the flowers.
The employee who answered said the store was unable to take orders on the phone, but offered to handle it for him herself and had pay her on Venmo.
Not only did the Trader Joe's employee send the flowers to his parents, she also sent a card!
